Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, first Welsh translation, hardback, Bloomsbury 2003, signed and inscribed by the translator, Emily Huws to the front-free endpaper. Book appears unread. Spine tips are firm and corners remain sharp (one corner lightly creased). Interior is very clean. Book is entirely square with no lean. Fore edge and text block entirely unmarked. No sunning to the spine of the unclipped dust jacket, which is fine in appearance. A fine copy.

First illustrated edition published by Bloomsbury in 2015.  4to., original red publisher's boards, backstrip lettered in blue, with publisher's device to foot; together in the original unclipped dust jacket (£30.00), featuring a wonderful picture of the hogwarts express; pp. [viii], 1-245, [iii]; a near fine copy; the dust jacket with tiny amounts of rubbing to the corners; two corners of the boards have minor compression. A nice copy. First UK illustrated edition, with many sketches, drawings and illustrations by artist Jim Kay. He has signed his name without dedication to the title page. A copy in giftable condition.

First edition, first print, with a JK Rowling signed Bloomsbury bookplate attached to the front free endpaper. A fine copy; internally unmarked, with no ownership name. Bright and unmarked scarlet boards, no bumps to the edges, light push to spine foot, very light pushing to one corner (see final photograph). Blue ribbon marker. A lovely and very fresh copy wrapped in a clear plastic jacket and housed in a custom-made box.

A fine early printing signed by Rowling with her authentication hologram. Signed at the Harrogate International Festival in 2014, with the original of the ticket for the signing.

First paperback edition, very early fifteenth printing of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, signed and inscribed by the author ['To Amanda, Best wishes, J.K. Rowling'] on the dedication page. This copy features the very early signature variation when Rowling was still using periods to separate the 'J' and the 'K' in her signature. She dispensed with these in late summer of 1998 to create a more fluid signature. The book is inscribed to the original recipient and presents a lovely example of this rare signature variation. It has been fully authenticated by J.K. Rowling signature expert Adam Houston of The Harry Potter Specialist and comes with a Letter of Authenticity (LoA) and a collector's card with interesting details. The book is in very fine, unread condition. The boards are excellent, with only very minor fading towards the spine, vibrant colours and without the usual laminate issues. Only the lower front corner tip is very slightly pushed; the other corner tips and spine ends are still very sharp. The binding is very tight, and the pages are bright and clean, without inscriptions, names, dog-ears, or other flaws .Comes in a half-leather clamshell box. A highly collectible copy of a very early signed and inscribed first edition.

First edition, twentieth impression (numberline reading '20' on title verso), paperback issue, inscribed by the author 'to Adam, with best wishes, J K Rowling' on the dedication page in black ink, 8vo, original pictorial wrappers with Smarties Gold Award Winner label to upper cover, spine sunned, textblock toned as usual. The pages are clean with no marks or bookplates. Overall, a beautiful copy.
