Tips sharp showing color loss only, no rub-through. Vivid, uncreased blue/white illustrated endpapers show a team of dogs pulling a sled through a snowstorm. Original, price-clipped, color illustrated dj in new mylar shows several short closed tears, color loss and small chips at tips, triangular chips on frt and rear panels, plus a 1/2" x 1" chip at head of spine that took the top half of the S in Silver with it, small chip at foot of white background rear dj panel foot that shows a b/w photo of the author in a fur coat, ready for adventure. The pages are clean with no soiling, writing, or tears. The copyright page shows 1954 as the published date. There is the number 937 on the spine. The picture covers have a color illustration of two men and two wolves fighting. The covers are clean and in great shape. This old book looks and feels great!
