First Edition. Blue cloth. Tiny deoartive pig stamp on front end paper, else Fine -- tight, bright and unmarked in price-clipped, lightly rubbed jacket apparently trimmed too short -- about 1/4 inch.

First Edition. Near Fine in vibrant blue cloth covered boards with black titles and a just about Fine black dust jacket. Slightly cocked, with front board lightly bowed. Jacket price marked out, with light rubbing at the spine ends and corners. An attractive copy, unusual in this variant.

B&W Illustrations; This book is in Very Good+ condition and has a Very Good- dust jacket. The book and its contents are in generally clean, bright condition. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some beginning bumping and "rubbing. There is a very slight slant to the spine of the book. The text pages are clean and bright. The endpapers have some light, generalized toning. The dust jacket has several edge nicks, tears and small chips missing. The rear dust jacket panel has noticeable overall toning. As per Baumgarten, the book has a dust jacket price of two dollars.
