This fascinating novel is the story of Lemuel Gulliver, a surgeon and sea captain who travels to remote regions of the world. At one point, Gulliver is shipwrecked on Lilliput, where people are six inches tall. Another voyage takes him to Brobdingnag, where giant people live. A third voyage takes him to Laputa and the nearby continent and capital of Lagado. There he finds pedants obsessed with themselves, and utterly ignorant of the rest of life. And the story goes on--a classic novel, originally written for children, but now with this special edition a novel for adults. Very collectible.
