Very good in decorated red cloth covered boards with a gilt top edge to the text block. The cloth at the corners of the head and heel of the spine are very slightly rubbed and the gilt text on the spine is slightly darkened and there is a prior owner's signature on the first free end page. The fore and the lower edge of the text block shows a few spots of foxing and staining. The Lakeside Classic release of 1935. Edited by Milo Milton Quaife. Originally published under the title of "Kit Carson's Own Story of His Life as Dictated to Col. and Mrs. D. C. Peters about 1856-57 And Never Before Published."
