Super nice reprint hardcover in navy blue cloth covered boards dated 1937 on verso title page, but below that is the following number code: L 647. Possible reprint? Book has no names, tears or soil inside. Head of 235pp text is dyed green. Navy blue cloth covered boards with bright silver titles and illustration of sled dogs on frt board. Tips sharp showing color loss only, no rub-through. Vivid, uncreased blue/white illustrated endpapers show a team of dogs pulling a sled through a snowstorm. Original, price-clipped, color illustrated dj in new mylar shows several short closed tears, color loss and small chips at tips, triangular chips on frt and rear panels, plus a 1/2" x 1" chip at head of spine that took the top half of the S in Silver with it, small chip at foot of white background rear dj panel foot that shows a b/w photo of the author in a fur coat, ready for adventure.
