First American edition. Neat, contemporary owner's name on the front fly, a couple of barely visible spots on the boards, small tear in margin of title page else very near fine in bright, near fine dust jacket with very shallow loss at the crown. A fresh copy of this classic Irish novel which was the basis for the 1935 film that won four Academy Awards including Best Actor for Victor McLaglen and Best Director for John Ford. *Haycraft-Queen Cornerstone*. The American edition seems much less common than the English edition, especially in jacket.
