Also features 8 interior color works by Joel Meyerowitz along with the striking cover image as well. Mary Ellen Mark has 14 black and white image as well. Finally, there is a 5 page interview of Brett Weston by Paul Hill and Tom Cooper. A clean near fine copy in wrappers with a crease to the bottom corner of the front cover and first page. Still a very nice copy of one of the better issues of this long running magazine.

This book is hard-bound in burgundy covers with a black leather spine, with light gray stamping to the upper cover and spine, with a pictorial paste-down on the upper cover. There is some very light rubbing to the edges of the spine-ends, as well as somne light wear to the very top and bottom of the joints, but with the covers in otherwise excellent condition. The binding is solid. The contents are bright and clean with 250, black & white photo illustrations throughout. This book is signed/inscribed by the author/artist Patti Smith on the title-page. Laid-in at the front of the book is a folded booklet/pamphlet titled, "Patti Smith, A Pythagorean Traveler. An Evening of Words and Song, January 11, 2007," which is signed by Patti Smith on the inside. Also included with the book is the padded, mailing envelope which was used to ship the book between the collector and the author/artist (The envelope is torn open, but added for provenance.) - From the collection of Cuthbert Christian Thambimuttu (1945-2019) of Columbus, Ohio - known to many of his bookseller, author, and illustrator friends as "Tubby." He was persistent in the pursuit of autographed books by the writers and artists he admired, including Gorey, Sendak, Heaney, Byatt, Morrison, Updike and many more. Joseph Heller once wrote to Tubby in response to one more "please sign and return" request: "This is turning out to be a hell of a lot of work!"
