Originally published by A. Flanagan Company in 1923, this is an early reprint. Green decorated hardcover cloth binding has a small tear top of spine, some rubbed edges, but secure and tight. Hinges good. Ffep has small corner torn bottom. Endpapers illustrated with green and white pictures. 130 pages includes Explanatory notes and vocabulary. Also includes an introduction and biographical sketch of the author. Beautifully illustrated.
Quarto, softcover, near fine in plastic cover, in blue pictorial wraps. No date but appears to be from 30's or 40's. Eloise Burns illustrator. Poems on left, full page illustration accompany poem at right. Includes: winter time, escape at bedtime, rain, the cow, bed in summer, the little land, the swing. Framable illustrations.
Hardcover. Worn dust jacket. Split along outside edges of boards, spine strip. Chipped. Darkened. Has been taped to inside paste downs, front and back. Cello tape has yellowed and adhesive has stained free pages opposite. Blue cloth boards are worn on edges, corners. Binding is in fair shape. Good reading copy.
