Later printing of this charming copy of the wonderful poetry anthology by Stevenson, featuring the beautiful illustrations by Eulalie. The artist, Eulalie (b. 1895), was a tremendously successful children's book artist who is perhaps best remembered for her Little Black Sambo, this Stevenson's Child's Garden of Verses, and of course her wonderful Bumper Book for Watty Piper. About the time she created the illustrations for this work, she also was painting murals for Ann Harding, Harold Lloyd, and Charlie Chaplin, and was beloved for her murals in the old Santa Monica Library Boys and Girls Room.
