Fine hardbound with some light, tiny spotting to boards. Boards are white cloth with gilt on spine and with Ms. Hepburn's imprinted signature on front board. Dust Wrapper is Fine with bumping to spine head, and some light discoloration to back edge. Tight clean copy of First Edition, Fourth Printing in November 1987. Typed note from December 13, 2000 to the initial owner from Christiane Mccloskey for Miss Hepburn on letterhead stationary laid in. Miss Hepburn's SIGNATURE on the Title Page. This is Ms. Hepburn's recollection and treatment of the making of the African Queen, considered one of the best movies ever made. This book is a common book if it was not for Katherine Hepburn signature on the first white page.She rarely signed anything. No further inscription or dedication in the book.But the former left corresponding e-mails which come with the books purchase. The book itself is in clean condition. No fingerprints, dog ears, stain or high lighting.
