This copy features the author's name in red, though it should be noted that both the red and the gold versions are equally desirable. Aside from some browning to the pages and textblock edges, this is a very clean copy with no writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates. No remainder marks. Not an ex-library copy. Spine is tight and crisp. Corners are square, and the boards are flat and true with minimal, if any, wear. Dust jacket is not price-clipped but does have some scuffing and edge wear including some small tears along the upper and lower spine extremes and a 1/2" tear along the lower edge of the front cover. There is also a light crease that runs the length of the spine as well as some browning to the flaps and to the inside of the jacket. The red lettering on the front cover, which can be quite worn on these books, shows only very light rubbing to a few of the letters.
