A beautiful and hard-to-find copy with the author's inscribed signature makes it a great gift for any age and occasion. The hardback & spine is in Near Fine condition, with no marks, slant, stains. There is a trace of foxing on the front and rear end paper. The dust jacket is also in Near Fine condition. It is later state, when the book's publisher changed to HarperCollins. There is a faint discoloration near the edges but otherwise the DJ is clean and bright. Adapted successfully for film in 2007 by David Paterson and Jeff Stockwell, directed by Gabor Csupo, starring Josh Hutcherson, AnnaSophia Robb, Zooey Deschanel, and Robert Patrick.
