Good hardback (no dust jacket) Sound reference copy in tight binding; navy cloth with gilt titles on spine; cloth worn at extremities; with patch of loss in centre of front board; spine balding at head & foot. Lovely colour frontispiece. Scattered foxing throughout; some pages previously loose-now reattached, though edges remain worn; 132 colour plates, all checked and present. This is a hevay book (about 2.1kg packed); additional postage may be required.

xxviii, 340 pages, 132 drawings in colour (all present). Wear at top and bottom of spine, spine is also sunned, old inscription on front endpaper.
