Red printed paper-covered boards. Very collectible true first edition, first binding. Spine panel missing, clear tape to boards, heavily worn/frayed edges. Ffep is detached, laid in, with PO gift inscription. Moderate foxing to endpages, mild foxing throughout. Hinges cracked, boards are nearly detached. Illustrated by Denslow. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall

a fair to good copy of the 2nd edition dated 1902 after the Willingham 1st issue, the same fine color plates, a tear to one plate repaired, else a vivid color plate sample of Denslow's pretty homage to Christmas. 4to, 10 by 12 inches approximate size. red cloth faded, loose, central pastedown of Santa is about very good, black titling et al. I love the color plates of this volume, among the Denslow best makes a good candidate for repair.

Quarto in light gray colored cloth binding with color plate mounted on front cover. Color illustrations. Condition: top two inches of first free endpaper torn away possibly to remove previous owner's name; bottom of cloth spine slightly frayed; minor soiling to binding; else very good. Unpaginated. For what it's worth: four chromolithographic items with a cat theme and from the same era as the book's publication have been loosely inserted.

Color illus., 11 x 8.5", grey green cloth, paper Denslow illus. on front, red-brown lettering, unpaginated, (64)pp. Covers rubbed, soiled with light staining, spine sunned/letters light, spine tips/corners bumped and worn, pencil and ink names on ffeps, inner hinges/textblock cracked, contents have soiling and smudging, couple of edge tears to one page else good. The first issue of this SCARCE title had red wraps, this issue with grey green cloth most likely came out the same year (Greene & Hearn). FIRST EDITION, SECOND ISSUE.
