Liam O'Flaherty
Publisher: Alfred A.... Date published: 1925 Format: Hardcover

First American Edition. INSCRIBED in the year of publication by the author on the front endpaper: "To Mrs. Norman / from / Liam O'Flaherty / Sept 27th 1925." The author's landmark first novel, a Haycraft Queen cornerstone, and basis for two films, one in 1929 and a better one in 1935 directed by John Ford with Victor MacLaglen in the lead. Publisher's black cloth. Very Good lacking the scarce dust jacket. Slightly shaken and somewhat cocked, some spotting to the top page edges, else clean and presentable, with color design on the front board and spine completely intact.
