The book has maroon boards with gilt lettering on the spine, and a mystical flying horse and star embossed on the front board. The spine and around the edges of the board are sunned. There is very minimal bumping, with slight corner scuff and bend. The top of the spine has slight shelf ware scuffing, and very minor nicks. The spine and around the board edges it is sunned. The boards are in a very good condition, especially with there being no jacket, and its age. There is no jacket with this book. There is pencil writing on the front end paper. The pages are in a very good condition, apart from having some age spots, but not all of the pages. These do not affect the writing in the book. Overall, I would class this book at in a very good condition, especially given the age of the book.
