Some shelfwear along the the bottom, else a Very Good copy in a priced-clipped jacket that has chipping at the top of the spine, and at the corners, and one closed tear near the front bottom corner. Fifth Printing 1968.

Offsetting from newspaper article previously laid in at half-title. Frontispiece portrait and complete with 46 black and white photographs. In the publisher's first state dust jacket, $5.00 on front flap, sunning to spine, light chipping along top edge, a very good example. Signed on the front free endpaper by the author, in English and Tibetan.

Very good with minor offsetting to the endpapers and some slight fading to the spine in a very good lightly used and dust soiled dust jacket with some fading to the spine, but with front panel still very bright. Classic study of the Tibetan religious leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and the basis of the film starring Brad Pitt.
