There they experience the adventures that introduce us to the characters that have become well known: Tinkerbell, Tiger Lily, Captain Hook, The Crocodile, and others. George Bernard Shaw described the 1904 stage play as "ostensibly a holiday entertainment for children but really a play for grown-up people."
