A very scarce copy in original DJ (now in a protective cover), some general edge wear and an open tear which is over a small part of the author's name, but beautifully illustrated and makes reference to Betty Bronson in the Paramount Picture of J M Barrie's 'Peter Pan'. The boards are red cloth with a blind stamped motif of Peter Pan and with black lettering to the spine and are in great condition. Internally there is browning to the block edge and EPs but a really nice tight copy - presents well.

736 pp., blue cloth case faded around spine, but internally excellent with clean text. Biography of Scot Sir James Barrie, novelist and playwright best known for Peter Pan, but a man of many other literary interests and activities. Peter Pan was based on the Llewellen family children in Kensington, and the rights were given to Great Ormond St. Hospital which still benefits from them.
