An excellent first edition/ first print hardback . No dust wrapper - as issued by the publisher. The book is unread and in near fine condition with some tanning on the page edges. The book is in fair condition. There is an inscription in the rear and no bookplates or markings of any other kind. There is some wear to the outer hinges. The rear hinge has been reinforced. One page, shown above, has a tear with no loss. The pages are free of foxing. The book is a First edition, Second printing. A rare early Edition of Kerouac's classic work.
