A 1st print (stated) of a Dell edition of a mid 1950s Inspector Maigret mystery. Dell Book 964. Light edge wear. Soiling to the front cover. The binding glue has dried and the first couple of pages and pages 135 - 159 have separated. Browning to the pages. A fair to good copy.

Solid with a reading crease along the spine and a small corner crease on the front cover, and some corner creases on the back.

The book is in very good condition, with mildly foxed edges and spine, gently rubbed spine ends, sound text block, good hinges, clean pages with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not corner clipped and is also in very good condition, with very mildly rubbed extremities and minor chipping to the spine ends. . First US Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

FIRST EDITION (American) in dust jacket. Book is fine. The lightly rubbed. unclipped dust jacket is worn at the spine ends and has a closed tear at the bottom of the front panel.
