A 1st print (stated) of a Dell edition of a mid 1950s Inspector Maigret mystery. Dell Book 964. Light edge wear. Soiling to the front cover. The binding glue has dried and the first couple of pages and pages 135 - 159 have separated. Browning to the pages. A fair to good copy.
First Edition stated. In black boards with green type to spine. Bottom rear corner bumped with edgewear especially at corners and spine ends. Some numbers in ink to rear pastedown. Previous owner covered book in clear plastic book protector which is taped to pastedowns with adhesive strip, othwerwise - Very Good. No jacket.

FIRST EDITION (American) in dust jacket. Book is fine. The lightly rubbed. unclipped dust jacket is worn at the spine ends and has a closed tear at the bottom of the front panel.
