First edition, first printing D. Appleton 1912. Very good burgundy cloth hardcover with pictorial cover. Previous owner's inscription and name to flyleaf. Cover applique complete and in very good condition. Scratches to rear cover. Text clean and unmarked. Scarce.

Juvenile series. 1st edition with (1) post text. 8vo. Maroon cloth with gold lettering and rules and color pictorial plate on front board. 303 pages + ads. Full color frontispiece on coated paper and (3) internal color plates. Rear hinge is slightly weakened and there is a bit of wear at the top of the spine and corners. Applique cover is slightly rubbed. A very nice copy of the second title in the 7 volume "Lansing" series (1912-17). Scarce title! Selling quality books for 35 years!
