First Edition, 175pp, coloured frontis, beautifully illustrated in colour, hardcover, brown cloth, gilt lettered, visible damp stain to lower part of spine, good condition, dust wrapper unclipped but creased and some tears, Faber and Faber Limited, London, 1948.

Good only, though plates very strong. Light rubbing to overall sharp cloth with mild sunning toward upper third; bumped corners; bright gilt stamped titles. Light to moderate spine slant with no effect on strong binding tjhat opens flat at several places throughout. Moderate to fairly strong uniform toning to unmarekd pages with plates clean and bright.
