This is the first book in JK Rowlings series about Harry Potter a boy Wizard who, up until now, has lived a miserable existence with his aunt uncle and cousin. All that is about to change when Harry receives a curious invitation to come to Hogwarts, a school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This book is in very good condition. The title page is slightly separated from the binding, but other wise the book is in excellent shape.

Previous owner's inscription on the front free end paper. The spine has no number and says "Rowling". The dust jacket flap price is $16.95. The barcode includes the number 51695. The spine says "Rowling" and has no "Year 1" logo. The words "Harry Potter" are in raised gold letters. The back panel has a blurb by Publisher's Weekly. The spine is slanted and softened at the ends. Previous owner's name is written on the front pastedown. In a sound binding with hinges intact. The dust jacket is softened at the spine ends and has small spots of wear at the corners.
