DJ is solid and in good condition in protective covering. DJ shows minor sings of aging with light discoloration at its edges. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall

1st Edition Hardcover with Dust jacket. Copy in inscribed to Connie Martinson (Talks Books Host) on 4/2/86 the year of issue but with an error to the recipients name. It was signed to Carol, and Ms. Angelou's inscription apologizes for the error correcting it to Connie. A few pages had been dog-eared, two with small ink marks and the last two pages have notes unfortunately in ink presumably by Ms. Martinson in preparation for her interview with Angelou. Otherwise, copy is clean, binding is tight, and jack shows just the slightest bit of yellowing from age and handling wear.
