Carpeta rústica en muy buen estado de conservación. Primera edición firmada por el autor con una dedicatoria al abogado puertorriqueño Hernan Torres Platini. Pedro Malavet Vega fue abogado y escritor de mas treinta libros con temas en leyes, musica y costumbres puertorriquenas. El 24 de junio de 1985 se cumplieron 50 años de la muerte de Carlos Gardel. Ya era común decir que "cada día canta mejor". Se acerca el aniversario número setenta en el 2005, del accidente en Medellín, Colombia. Allí El Tanguero Mayor se convirtió en el mito también mayor del tango y de América. Aquel aniversario número 50 dio pie para este libro ilustrado que había agotado su tirada. La obra revive la trayectoria humana y musical de quien es probablemente el cantor popular más conocido por más de dos generaciones de América. Pero no se queda en Gardel, las pinceladas se extienden a figuras consulares del tango como Agustín Magaldi, Agustín Irusta, Hugo Del Carril, Roberto Goyeneche, Alberto Castillo, Julio Sosa y Rubén Juárez.
